Hi Jane! Talking to John Holdway at the National Rally, it seemed he was unaware that a few of us went paragliding in the French Alps from our holiday rally in June 2006. So I thought you might like these photos for the website? They show me, Vic Ford, and Sue, on our tandem paraglides. The first one to do it was actually Gabriel Batt, and it looked like such fun that the three of us also decided to have a go. I don't have any photos of Gabriel's flight, but he should be credited with being the first. Some of my photos show me on the walkie talkie, having a chat with Jim Gilchrist, who was on the ground with Doug Haddrell who took a video of the flights for us. In some of the photos you can see the rally site, which was right beside the village.
