The final blog before the AGM!  Where has the year gone?  It certainly feels  that the summer has lasted longer than of recent years, but with the cool August and now September has broken with wet and windy weather, the hoped for late Indian Summer is not such a good bet.

The good news is that despite hellish weather for the Wessex working group the weekend event was largely fair and even very warm on the Monday.  And didn’t you do well? 
Lots of ‘places’ in the ‘baking’ section; sports saw a number of finals and wins; a 2nd and a 3rd in the Miss Wessex (well done Megan & Zoe); 2nd in the Children’s Fancy Dress; a 1st in the Small Centres Entertain and a 3rd in  the Walking Tableau (we were robbed of 50 points for being a couple of seconds over time, otherwise we would have been (Click Here To Read Full Article)
